Delicious and hydrating homemade electrolyte gummies made with natural ingredients, perfect for replenishing electrolytes after workouts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut water or 100% fruit juice (such as orange or tart cherry juice)
  • 4 tbsp unflavored grass-fed gelatin
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (or liquid stevia for keto)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt or pink Himalayan salt
  • 1/8 tsp cream of tartar (optional, for extra potassium)

Instructions

  1. Pour 1/2 cup of the coconut water or juice into a small saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface and let it sit for 5 minutes to ‘bloom’.
  2. Place the saucepan over low heat. Whisk gently and constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Do not let the mixture boil.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Whisk in the remaining 1 cup of coconut water/juice, honey or maple syrup, sea salt, and cream of tartar (if using) until everything is well combined.
  4. Carefully pour the mixture into your silicone molds.
  5. Place the molds in the refrigerator for at least 30-60 minutes, or until the gummies are firm to the touch.
  6. Once firm, carefully pop the gummies out of the molds. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.

Notes

Use silicone molds for easy popping out of the gummies. You can vary the sweetness and flavor using different fruit juices.
