A comforting and hearty soup that captures the flavors of a classic cheeseburger, perfect for busy days.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef with chopped onion in a skillet until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  2. Add the cooked beef and onion to the crockpot along with diced potatoes, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Stir in the milk and shredded cheddar cheese about 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Allow the cheese to melt and serve warm.

Notes

For a thicker soup, mash some of the potatoes in the crockpot before serving. You can also add vegetables like carrots or bell peppers for extra flavor.
