A delicious Ground Beef Philly Cheesesteak with seasoned beef, sautéed veggies, and melted cheese in a hoagie roll.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Hoagie rolls (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a spatula. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Layer provolone cheese on top and cover the skillet until the cheese melts.
  4. Serve the mixture in hoagie rolls.

Notes

Use lean ground beef to reduce excess grease. Feel free to add your favorite veggies like spinach or zucchini for extra flavor.
