A delightful dish combining classic Philly cheesesteak flavors with cheesy tortellini, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb steak (ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions; set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sliced steak and cook until browned; remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add bell pepper, onion, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
  4. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in provolone cheese until melted and sauce thickens.
  6. Add cooked tortellini and steak back to the skillet; toss everything to combine.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on stovetop or microwave.
