Delicious Korean BBQ Meatballs with a savory glaze and a spicy mayo dip, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • For the spicy mayo dip:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Whisk together hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and gochujang to make the glaze.
  5. Brush the glaze over the meatballs.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until fully cooked and browned.
  7. Prepare the spicy mayo dip by mixing mayonnaise, sriracha, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  8. Serve the meatballs warm with the spicy mayo dip.

Notes

For the best flavor, let the meatball mixture sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes before forming them. You can customize by adding vegetables or using different meats.
