  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional add-ins: peas, corn, or diced bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef (or turkey) over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt, and pepper; bring to a simmer.
  5. Add cooked macaroni and mix well.
  6. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Optionally, add any favorite add-ins like peas, corn, or diced bell peppers. Serve hot.

Notes

Make sure to drain any fat after cooking the meat to keep the dish lighter. Adjust seasoning to suit your taste with more paprika or hot sauce if desired.
