Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb refrigerated pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 lb Genoa salami, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 lb deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 lb pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (low-moisture)
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • Marinara sauce, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll the pizza dough into a 10×14-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Layer the fillings onto the dough, starting with provolone cheese, followed by salami, ham, pepperoni, and shredded mozzarella, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Roll the dough up tightly into a log from a long edge. Pinch the seam and ends to seal completely. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Beat the egg and water together in a small bowl. Brush the egg wash over the entire surface.
  6. Cut 4-5 slits across the top of the dough to allow steam to escape. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  8. Let the stromboli rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving with marinara sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for crispy texture.
