A comforting Chicken Noodle Soup made effortlessly in a slow cooker, perfect for chilly days.

Ingredients

  • 1 rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles (or pasta of your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the shredded rotisserie chicken, diced onion, sliced carrots, diced celery, chicken broth, garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper to the slow cooker.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or high for 180-240 minutes.
  4. Add the egg noodles to the slow cooker about 30 minutes before serving.
  5. Once the noodles are cooked, give it a good stir and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, sauté the vegetables before adding to the slow cooker. Adjust the garlic powder to taste.
